For example, xfriend indexes jpeg, mp3, doc, xls, pdf, txt and other formats. xfriend is made on pure Java. It runs on any popular operating system such as Windows or Linux. You just need your webbrowser. Immediately after installation xfriend will be available as a web-service on your computer.
