Pros: Can't think of any. Cons: False starts on converted tracks. Crashes after converting a few tracks. Inconsistent support. I purchased WMAConvert 3.4.2 to convert Sony’s OMA music files to MP3. Having installed it, I just couldn’t get it even to start up. Contacted support and had a response within hours, brilliant, I thought! Got the software to start up and every thing seems fine. Having converted some files, I deleted the source to later discover that some converted tracks had false starts, i.e., the tracks started again a few seconds after it had already started. Also, the conversion crashed after converting 30 tracks or so. Contacted support again and the response this time was a day, still not bad. The recommended resolution didn’t work. Contacted support, response time two days. The resolution seemed a variation of the previous one and it seemed I was doing their beta testing for them. No problem I thought, it is 10 day money back approval and I am still within limit. WRONG!! As soon as I mentioned the refund, there is no longer any response from them. What a surprise. Net result, I have ended up with some poor quality music and no source files. Fortunately, most of my music is still safe and a lot of it I will be rerecording as I have the original CDs. It is quicker, safer, more reliable and free! I would have saved myself a lot of time and a bit of money had I not bothered with WMAConvert. The software may work well for you, but do not expect a refund if it doesn’t.
