LICENCE AGREEMENT - KH Blocker

1. GRANT OF LICENSE. Karl Hunter as Licenser, grants to you, the Licensee, a non-exclusive license to use this software program (and inafter the "SOFTWARE") in accordance with the terms contained in this license.
You may use the SOFTWARE on any number of computers. You may also access the SOFTWARE through a network with this free license.
2. NO REVERSE ENGINEERING. You may not modify, disassemble or decompile this SOFTWARE. This also encludes data files KH Blocker uses.
3. COPYRIGHT. All title and copyrights in and to the SOFTWARE, includingthe images and texts incorporated into the SOFTWARE, are owned by Karl Hunter.
4. REDISTRIBUTION. You can freely distribute the SOFTWARE, provided that:
(a) you only distribute the original install program of the SOFTWARE. (You can download the original Install program of the SOFTWARE from Karl Hunter`s website or via e-mail. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE ARE YOU LICENSED TO DISTRIBUTE ANY OTHER FILE OF THE SOFTWARE.
(b) you DO NOT charge, or ask for donations, for this.
(c) you DO NOT distribute it with any other product, commercial or not, without prior written permission. E-mail Karl Hunter for more information. Karl Hunter`s e-mail address can be found on the website.
5. (a) KH Blocker once installed will delete your current HOSTS file and replaces it with a new HOSTS file. The new HOSTS file will have a list of websites that your computer will block. Every time you update KH Blocker new websites will be added the your new HOSTS file. NB, new websites are only added if there`s a new version of the HOSTS file. To save bandwidth, KH Blocker only updates if there`s a new version of the HOSTS file.
(b) KH Blocker will also disable your DNS cache (preventing your computer from `lagging` this is because the HOSTS file to too large). Doing this may cause problems if yo have a network.
(c) KH Blocker will automatically load at your start-up (this can be changed once installed).
6. KH Blocker has a built-in updater - Self-Updater will install the most up-to-date version of KH Blocker. Whilst you accept this license agreement, you also accept that you agree to have new versions installed onto your system when they`re released.These new versions are still covered by this agreement. You accept not just the agreement of KH Blocker 2.0, you accept the agreement to KH Blocker 2.x. (X means all other versions). Self-Updater is only vaid for version 2.x.
7. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY. THE SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KARL HUNTER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF PERFORMANCE, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL KARL HUNTERBE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION OR LOSS OF BUSINESS INFORMATION) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF KARL`S Software HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
