Billion-Softswitch works as a switch in a voice-over-ip networks allowing to proxy both signalling and media streams. Main features: maintenance of connection between two diverse gateways or gateways placed in various subnets, centralized connection with billing system, querying routing servers for terminating gateways, control of H323-gateways set, protection from unathorized access, web-access to all configuration parameters.
