Easy maintenance and update of search zones is available through a built-in scheduler and can be done automatically when Windows starts. The program features a configurable results browser and new copy text functions, a save search option and favorite searches. The Sleuthhound PDF search solution has an easy-to-use interface. Specify the Search Zone, enter the keyword and click the "Find" button produces an instant keyword result with the located documents in the browser. Our PDF Search solution searches TXT, HTM, HTML and MS Word documents and Adobe PDF files. Users may upgrade to the Professional version to obtain further document search capacity via plug-ins. The Pro version will search for RTF, ANSI and ASCI text, and many other document type files via a universal converter. Additional plug-ins for the PRO version support WordPerfect, Excel, PowerPoint, MP3, ZIP, MHT and Extended HTML file types. All result displays are configurable. The program is configurable, and able to display results with all accented characters. The program supports the following European languages: Spanish, German, French, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Bulgarian, Catalan, Danish, Hungarian and others.

Thank you for trying The Sleuthhound!, a new generation personal
search engine that operates like Web Search Engine on your Hard Drive.
This hard drive search program allows you to have instant access to
your documents by keywords. This file is brief and is designed to
point you to other resources. Please be sure to send us your feedback
to support@isleuthhound.com so we can continue to improve The
Sleuthhound!.
Resources
==========
You have the opportunity to use the Sleuthound so it will
automatically update itself. Placed in your Start Up group, The
Sleuthhound icon will then appear in your System Tray. This is to
allow an instant update of all your search zones and a progressive
scheduling of zone updates, to facilitate excellent search results for
you. If you do not wish to use this resource, right click on the Main
Window (anywhere) and select "Remove from Start-Up Folder"
System requirements

In order to successfully use The Sleuthhound!, you need the following:
* Pentium (tm)-based IBM PC compatible computer
(or higher).
* Minimum of 32MB of memory (RAM)
* Microsoft Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT 4.0
Windows 2000, Windows XP Operating System.
* Approx 10 MB of free disk space (additional space is needed for
search zones).
* A mouse
* A color monitor with a VGA card (800x600 screen
resolution and 16-bit color mode or better is
recommended).
Installation
============
The Sleuthhound! is installed simply by starting (CLICKING) the
self-installing EXE file. You will be asked for the destination
directory, program manager group and then the installation program
will copy all neccesary files and create several Programs Menu items
for The Sleuthhound! and its help file. After that, it will execute
The Sleuthhound!
Special Note for Windows NT4, 2000, XP, 2003 users.
You must have administrator rights to install The Sleuthhound!. To
Install The Sleuthhound!, logon with administrator login. After
installing, login under user name and enter your personal registration
code.
Uninstallation
==============
The Sleuthhound! can be completely removed from your system. In order
to do this, open the Control Panel and run the "Add/Remove Programs"
applet. Then, you can select The Sleuthhound! from the list of
installed programs, and click on the "Add/Remove..." button. You may
also use the convenient "Uninstall The Sleuthhound!" menu item in the
The Sleuthhound! folder on the Programs Menu.
The Remove applet will then start running and you will be presented
with options such as install, maintenance, and remove. Select the last
option, REMOVE and click the NEXT button. The Sleuthhound will then be
removed from your computer.

the latest information about The Sleuthhound!, so be sure to stop by
from time to time to check for news and updates. It can be accessed by

The following information is for individual licenses. Upon receipt of
payment you will receive a unique serial number, which, when entered
in the registration dialog box of The Sleuthhound!, will register your
copy of The Sleuthhound! for unlimited use. The registration number
will be sent to you via e-mail. Note, no disk will be sent. All
updates to the software will be made available via anonymous ftp:// or
http:// download. Once registered, a future version of The
Sleuthhound! loaded over the previous version will recognize your
registration serial number.
A single individual license for The Sleuthhound! is $20.00 (U.S.). Site
