An easy-to use Wizard allows you to include folders and directories and entire drives into your Search Zone. The Search Zone Manager allows you to create several Search Zones and take control of what you indexed.
Easy maintenance and update of search zones is available through a built-in scheduler and can be done automatically when Windows starts by placing The Sleuthhound! in the Start-Up group.
A powerful Results Browser provides you with a view of the located file or email with all search terms highlighted. All result displays are configurable. This utility has the ability to search for files with logical operators such as "and", "or", and "not" and supports the use of wildcards. The program can search many European languages (Spanish, German, French, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Bulgarian, Danish, Hungarian, and more) and display results with all accented characters. Additional plug-ins for the Pro and Power Pack versions support a wide range of file types.

============
Thank you for trying The Sleuthhound!, a new generation personal
search engine that operates like Web Search Engine on your Hard Drive.
This hard drive search program allows you to have instant access to
your documents by keywords. This file is brief and is designed to
point you to other resources. Please be sure to send us your feedback
to support@isleuthhound.com so we can continue to improve The
Sleuthhound!.
Resources

You have the opportunity to use the Sleuthound so it will
automatically update itself. Placed in your Start Up group, The
Sleuthhound icon will then appear in your System Tray. This is to
allow an instant update of all your search zones and a progressive
scheduling of zone updates, to facilitate excellent search results for
you. If you do not wish to use this resource, right click on the Main
Window (anywhere) and select "Remove from Start-Up Folder"
System requirements

In order to successfully use The Sleuthhound!, you need the following:
* Pentium (tm)-based IBM PC compatible computer
(or higher).
* Minimum of 32MB of memory (RAM)
* Microsoft Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT 4.0
Windows 2000, Windows XP Operating System.
* Approx 10 MB of free disk space (additional space is needed for
search zones).
* A mouse
* A color monitor with a VGA card (800x600 screen
resolution and 16-bit color mode or better is
recommended).
Installation
============
The Sleuthhound! is installed simply by starting (CLICKING) the
self-installing EXE file. You will be asked for the destination
directory, program manager group and then the installation program
will copy all neccesary files and create several Programs Menu items
for The Sleuthhound! and its help file. After that, it will execute
The Sleuthhound!
Special Note for Windows NT4, 2000, XP, 2003 users.
You must have administrator rights to install The Sleuthhound!. To
Install The Sleuthhound!, logon with administrator login. After
installing, login under user name and enter your personal registration
code.
Uninstallation
==============
The Sleuthhound! can be completely removed from your system. In order
to do this, open the Control Panel and run the "Add/Remove Programs"
applet. Then, you can select The Sleuthhound! from the list of
installed programs, and click on the "Add/Remove..." button. You may
also use the convenient "Uninstall The Sleuthhound!" menu item in the
The Sleuthhound! folder on the Programs Menu.
The Remove applet will then start running and you will be presented
with options such as install, maintenance, and remove. Select the last
option, REMOVE and click the NEXT button. The Sleuthhound will then be
removed from your computer.

============
The The Sleuthhound! website (http://www.isleuthhound.com) always has
the latest information about The Sleuthhound!, so be sure to stop by
from time to time to check for news and updates. It can be accessed by
clicking on the black underlined iSleuthhound Technologies in the main
program window. Also, make sure you check out the online help that

in the The Sleuthhound! main window.

try the product with no obligation. If you want to use it beyond the
30-day trial period, you must register. Registering The Sleuthhound!

to register during the last 5 days of the evaluation. The Sleuthhound!
will not run after its evaluation period has ended if not registered.
The following information is for individual licenses. Upon receipt of
payment you will receive a unique serial number, which, when entered
in the registration dialog box of The Sleuthhound!, will register your
copy of The Sleuthhound! for unlimited use. The registration number
will be sent to you via e-mail. Note, no disk will be sent. All
updates to the software will be made available via anonymous ftp:// or
http:// download. Once registered, a future version of The
Sleuthhound! loaded over the previous version will recognize your
registration serial number.
A single individual license for The Sleuthhound! is $20.00 (U.S.). Site
