The licensed version of sanFly offers additional modes of operation and functionality, including:
* Shared-persistent mode: allows usage of a shared read-only iSCSI target with multiple initiator access; individual initiator writes are tracked and cached by the sanFly iSCSI target. This supports the use of a single "master" iSCSI LUN with individual persistent write caches per client.
* Shared-nonpersistent mode: same as above, but the client write cache is discarded at (re)boot.
* Commit cache to master image: Any single client`s write cache can be committed to the "master" for repurposing / patching / deployment purposes
