Barcode Batch Separator 1.0

Barcode Batch Separator is a program that increases employee productivity at the copy machine when scanning numerous small files. It allows the user to take full advantage of the copier`s speed when scanning. Currently if a user is scanning a batch of files they need to scan one file at a time. With Barcode Batch Separator they can stack the files and scan it as one large file at full speed eliminating the starting and stopping after each file.

This document imaging tool separates the large file into smaller ones every time it finds a barcode separator page. Allowing for increased employe efficiency by saving time and making it easier to prepare files for inclusion into a companies document management software program.


How it Works

Barcode Batch Separator watches an output file folder hierarchy for multi-page Tiff images from a copier. When it finds a multi-page tiff image it begins its processing cycle. The barcode separator page is dropped and a new file is created. All pages after the barcode separator page are added to the new file. When the program finds another separator page the file is saved into a matching file folder hierarchy and another new file begins. The user has the option of either Tiff or PDF output for the new files.
