SEARCHANSWER LICENSE AGREEMENT
SearchAnswer (the "SOFTWARE") is distributed as try-before-you-buy. This means:
1. All copyrights to the SOFTWARE are exclusively owned by Sandy Springs Software Corporation.
2. Anyone may use the SOFTWARE during an evaluation period of 30 days. Following this evaluation period of 30 days or less, if you wish to continue to use the SOFTWARE, you must register.
3. Once registered, the user is granted a non-exclusive license to use the SOFTWARE on one computer (i.e. a single cpu), for any legal purpose, at a time. The registered SOFTWARE may not be rented or leased, but may be permanently transferred, if the person receiving it agrees to terms of this license. If the SOFTWARE is an update, the transfer must include the update and all previous versions.
4. The evaluation version of the SOFTWARE may be freely distributed on the Internet, on CD/DVDs or on disks, provided that the original files inside the distribution package are not modified, and the program is not bundled with illegal materials. No person or company may charge a fee for the distribution of the SOFTWARE. No person or company may distribute separate parts of the package.
You may not distribute the registered version or registration codes of the SOFTWARE under any circumstance.
5. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sandy Springs Software Corporation expressly disclaims any warranty for the SOFTWARE. The SOFTWARE is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including, without limitation, the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
6. Sandy Springs Software Corporation`s entire liability and your exclusive remedy under this license shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you to Sandy Springs Software Corporation for the SOFTWARE.
7. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Sandy Springs Software Corporation or its suppliers be liable for any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business profit, business interruption, loss of business information, or any other pecuniary loss) arising out of the use of, or inability to use, the SOFTWARE, even if Sandy Springs Software Corporation has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. You may not use, copy, emulate, clone, rent, lease, sell, modify, decompile, disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer the SOFTWARE, or any subset of the SOFTWARE, except as provided for in this agreement. Any such unauthorized use shall result in immediate and automatic termination of this license and may result in criminal and/or civil prosecution. All rights not expressly granted here are reserved by Sandy Springs Software Corporation.
9. Installing and using the Software signifies acceptance of these terms and conditions of the license.
10. If you do not agree with the terms of this license you must remove the SOFTWARE from your storage devices and cease to use it.
