The installation and use of Synops`Tools implies that you have accepted without reserve, the terms and conditions of this present licence.
1 - CONDITIONS of use (Trial version) :
You can install and try Synops`Tools for 30 days. If you like and use it, you will have to register and acquire your user`s licence or delete this program from your computer.
2 - CONDITIONS OF USE (Full Version) :
By obtaining your user`s licence you are given a personal registration key. Synops`Tools is thereby automatically transformed to the complete version. But take note, it has not been sold to you. only their use is licensed. SYNOPS Editons grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the software for your internal needs on a single central processor in one location only. This licence is exclusively aimed at a private individual or a person within a company who wishes to use these products on a single computer. The installation on a network server requires a distinct licence for each computer into which Synops`Tools is loaded.
3 - PERSONAL REGISTRATION KEY :
Take note that the registration key is unique, personal and confidential ! This cannot be distributed, disposed of, hired out, sold, sub-licenced, given or loaned at a cost or freely. You would be responsible for any eventual distribution. Anybody who does not respect this clause will be guilty of pirating offence and liable to penalties under the law.
4 - RESTRICTIONS :
This program is protected by copyright law and by international conventions - © Cyril DUFER / SYNOPS Editions 1993/2003 - You may not alter, decompile, break down, adapt, create other derivatory programs, integrate into another program, translate or modify in any way whatever, the whole or part of the software. You are not allowed to try to unlock the software without using your registration key, short-circuit or hack the authentification algorithm. The modification or deletion of the licence number, the copyright, the name of the author or user are forbidden regardless of the medium employed.
5 - OWNERSHIP :
In accordance with the author`s rights, SYNOPS Editions dispose of all the publication rights and copyright on the software and on all the associated documents (programs, data, references, pictures, photos, diagrams, information, licences). Therefore you will take all the required measures for the protection of the so-called rights and in particular you will respect and cause to be respected all the notes and warnings relating to these rights which are written into the components of the software.
6 - GUARANTEE AND LIABILITY :
SYNOPS guarantees in no way that Synops`Tools fullfils any functions whatever they might be nor the user`s specifications whether they have been written or not prior to acquisition. The guarantee is strictly limited to the CD-Rom and floppy disk which will be exchanged in case of corruption. The present guarantee applies a period of six months from the date of acquisition. Notwithstanding the above, SYNOPS will, in no case whatsoever, be held responsible for any damage direct or indirect caused to you or a third-party, in particular as a general example and by no means by way of limiting losses of profit, expenses, losses of data, losses of software, damage to or losses of hardware suffered by yourself or a third-party including the costs of recovery, reproduction or rectification of such losses or damages.
7 - GENERAL CLAUSES :
The present licence imposes no obligation of assistance on the part of SYNOPS concerning the use of the Software.
The present licence is subjected to French law.
