LICENSE AGREEMENT
GRANT OF LICENSE
This License Agreement(License) permits you to use one copy of this version of the Pacific Image Europe software product, which may include online or electronic documentation(the SOFTWARE) on a single computer. If this package comes with a license agreement for more than one copy, you may make and use additional copies of the SOFTWARE up to the number of Licensed Copies as authorized in the license agreement. The Software is in use on a computer when it is loaded into temporary memory(i.e.,RAM) or installed into permanent memory(e.g., hard disk, CD-ROM, or oher storage device) of that computer except that a copy installed on a network server for the sole purpose of distribution to other computers is not in use.
Although you are encouraged to make a backup copy of the Software for your own use, you are not allowed to make unlimited copies. The Software is protected by the copyright laws that pertain to computer software. It is illegal to make copies of the Software except for backups. It is illegal to give copies to another person, or to duplicate the Software by any other means, including electronic transmission. The Software contains trade secrets and in order to protect them you may not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble or otherwise reduce the software to humanperceivable form. You may not modify, adapt, translate, rent, lease or create derivative works based upon the Sofware or any part thereof.
TRADEMARKS
All brands or products are trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective holders and should be treated as such.
WARRANTY
Pacific Image Europe warrants that the original cd/disks is/are free from defects in material and workmanship, assuming normal use, for a period of ninety(90) days from date of purchase. If a defect occurs during this period, you may return your faulty disks/cd to Pacific Image Europe Software, along with a dated proof of purchase;Pacific Image Europe will replace it free of charge. After 90 days, you may obtain a replacement by sending Pacific Image Europe your defective disk(s)/cd and a cheque for 11 British Pound Sterling.
This warranty ends at the moment that Pacific Image Europe discontinues with the version of the product.
EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS WARRANTY OF THE ORIGINAL DISKS SET FORTH ABOVE,Pacific Image Europe Software GRANTS NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, BY STATUE OR OTHERWHISE, REGARDING THE DISKS AND RELATED MATERIALS, THEIR FITNESS FOR ANY PURPOSE, THEIR QUALITY, THEIR MERCHANTABILITY OR OTHERWHISE.
Pacific Image Europe IS NOT OBLIGATED TO PROVIDE ANY UPDATES TO THE SOFTWARE
THE LIABILITY OF Pacific Image Europe UNDER THE WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID BY THE CUSTOMER FOR THE PRODUCT. IN NO EVENT SHALL Pacific Image Europe BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHER DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF WARRANTY.
VIRUSES
IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK FOR VIRUSES BEFORE USING ANY SOFTWARE AND Pacific Image Europe DISCLAIMS ANY OTHER OR FURTHER LIABILITIES TO YOU FOR ANY VIRUS-CAUSED DAMAGE.
PRODUCT IMPROVEMENTS
Pacific Image Europe reserves the right to make corrections or improvements to the Program and its documentation and to the related diskettes and/or CD at any time without notice and with no responsibility to provide these changes to purchasers of earlier versions of such products.

HIGH RISK ACTIVITIES
The software is not fault-tolerant and is not designed, manufactured or intended for use or resale as 0n-line control equipment in hazardous environments requiring fail-safe performance, such as in the operation of nuclear facilities, aircraft navigation or communication systems, air traffic control, direct life support machines, or weapons systems, in which the failure of the software could lead directly to death, personal injury, or severe physical or environmental damage. Pacific Image Europe and its suppliers specifically disclaim any express or implied warranty of fitness for High Risk Activities.
