Inforix is shareware.
This means:
1. All copyrights to Inforix are exclusively owned by the GeloSoft, Inc.
2. Anyone may use this software during a test period of 30 days. Following this test period of 30 days or less, if you wish to continue to use Inforix, you MUST register.
3. Once registered, the user is granted a non-exclusive license to use Inforix on a personal computer(s), desktop and/or portable, or multiple users on a single computer, but not both. Usage on a LAN or in a server/workstation environment requires that each workstation accessing the software must be licensed.
In practical terms this means the software can be used by a single user *for personal use* on the work
computer and the portable computer for that user only. Work usage and personal usage on different computers
requires additional licensing. "You" means the company, entity or individual whose funds are used to pay the license fee. "Use" means storing, loading, installing, executing or displaying Inforix. This license is not transferable to any other system, or to another organization or individual. You are expected to use Inforix on your personal use system and to thoroughly evaluate its usefulness and functionality before making a purchase.
4. INFORIX unregistered shareware version, may be freely distributed, provided the distribution package is not modified. No person or company may charge a fee for the distribution of Inforix without written permission from the copyright holder.
