This license is a legal document which has been designed to protect your rights
and the rights of the developer. If you fail to comply with any of terms stated
in this license you must uninstall LyricWriter 2008 immediately. Installation of
LyricWriter 2008 on a computer signifies understanding and acceptance of these terms.
1.) Description of Software and Parties Involved: this license is a contract
between you (the customer) and the developer (Andy Weaver) regarding the use
and distribution of the software (LyricWriter 2008).
2.) All rights contained in the software belong to the developer. You are prohibited from
reverse-engineering, tampering with, or otherwise altering the software`s functionality
in any way shape or form. All rights on the custom data produced by the software
after installation belong to you, the customer.
3.) 30-DAY GUARANTEE. The developer guarantees that for a period of 30-days from initial purchase,
upon explicit request, the customer may receive a 100% refund for the software. The customer acknowledges
that upon receiving a refund that the customer`s license to use the software has been revoked, and the customer
must immediately uninstall the software completely from all systems it was installed. The developer is not
required to make refunds after expiration of the 30-day period after initial purchase, refunds after this
30-day period will be made solely at the discretion of the developer.
4.) TRIAL VERSION. The trial version license grants you a limited, non-exclusive,
and non-transferable license to install and use the trial version of this software. The customer is permitted to
distribute the TRIAL VERSION to other individuals so long as the following conditions are
met: the software trial version (LyricWriter 2008 trial) must be in it`s original state and (unmodified)
form, and the distributor (customer who shares the trial version with others) must NOT
distribute the trial version for any financial compensation whatsoever. Trial version
may be distributed on commodity media like CDs IF THE DISTRIBUTOR HAS RECEIVED EXPRESS CONSENT
FROM THE DEVELOPER.
5.) FULL VERSION. The full version license grants you a limited, non-exclusive,
and non-transferable license to install and use the full version of this software. Full version
refers to a copy of the TRIAL VERSION which has been registered using a REGISTRATION KEY.
The FULL VERSION may be installed on up to 5 different computers in use by the same person
who purchased the REGISTRATION KEY from the developer. The customer is NOT PERMITTED to
distribute the FULL VERSION in any way shape or form. The customer may make ONE backup
copy of the full version of the software on backup media WHICH IS ONLY ACCESSIBLE TO
THE CUSTOMER WHO PURCHASED THE REGISTRATION KEY FROM THE DEVELOPER.
6.) REGISTRATION KEY. Upon purchase of the software, customer receives a unique
registration key to turn the TRIAL VERSION of the software into the FULL VERSION. Upon
purchase, the customer agrees to NOT reuse, share, distribute, transfer, publish, sell,
lease, or rent the REGISTRATION KEY. Under certain circumstances, the developer is permitted
to, but not obligated to, give additional registration keys to the customer in the event that
the original purchased key has been misplaced or otherwise lost.
7.) LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "WITH ALL DEFECTS AND FAULTS
POTENTIALLY CONTAINED THEREIN". THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DEFECTS OR DAMAGE POTENTIALLY
CAUSED BY INSTALLATION OR USE OF THIS SOFTWARE. THE CUSTOMER AGREES TO USE THIS SOFTWARE AT
THEIR OWN RISK.
8.) PROHIBITION OF ILLEGAL USE: CUSTOMER AGREES THAT USING THIS SOFTWARE FOR PURPOSES OUTSIDE
THE LAW IN THEIR JURISDICTION OR FOR OTHERWISE ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES IMMEDIATELY TERMINATES THEIR
LICENSE TO INSTALL AND USE THIS SOFTWARE. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER TO VERIFY
WHAT CONSTITUTES "FAIR USE".
