END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
It is advised that you read this End-User license agreement with care to ensure that you understand your obligations prior to installation and use of the AlterEgos software.
This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or business) hereinafter referred to as the Licensee and the publisher hereinafter referred to as the Licensor of this Software for the AlterEgos Software(s) identified above, which includes computer software and may include associated media, printed materials, and "online" or electronic documentation ("ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE"). By installing or otherwise using the ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree to the terms of this EULA, do not install or use the ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE.
ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE LICENSE
The ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties. The ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE is licensed, not sold and as such its use may be withdrawn at any time should the use of the software be deemed as inappropriate or unlawful by the publisher.
1.GRANT OF LICENSE. This EULA grants you the following rights: Installation and Use. You may install and use a single copy of the ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE on two workstations. Each copy of the ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE will be associated to a single registered user (registration is available directly via the AlterEgos website) and may only be used in the production of AlterEgos compositions for that individual registered user, and may in certain versions be restricted to an IP address, domain or URL. You may not use the software for any use other than personal or within the confines of your business. You cannot sell, rent, loan or otherwise dispose of for any form of gain or freely any AlterEgos compositions generated by the ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE or collateral from AlterEgos software solutions or website. You cannot offer personally produced compositions to any other party for financial or similar gain. You must contact AlterEgos and request a commercial license should you wish to offer your services for financial or similar gains via the full or partial use or inclusion of AlterEgos software or its compositions. You may not include or integrate AlterEgos compositions within any media or media environment unless it its owned by the registered user or company. For example you could not integrate AlterEgos media into a clients website unless such client also holds a fully registered license for the AlterEgos software. You cannot offer AlterEgos compositions to any party for any purpose if that person does not hold a valid AlterEgos license agreement.
Reproduction and Distribution. You may not reproduce and distribute any copies of the ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE or any AlterEgos compositions or collateral used by or generated by the ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE. You should direct potentially interested parties directly to our registration and download facilities. You may contact AlterEgos to register as an authorised download facility. You are not licensed to create and resell, distribute, loan, lease or give away any productions created with the product.
If you are of any doubt as to the license terms relating to your purchase and licensed use of AlterEgos software and compositions, you can contact AlterEgos at any time to receive a complete copy of your registration details and use options by you or your company.
2. DESCRIPTION OF OTHER RIGHTS AND LIMITATIONS.
Limitations on Reverse Engineering, Decompilation, and Disassembly. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE or any of its collateral or compositions in any way, any modification to the original format of any part of the ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE or produced compositions will entitle the licensor to punitive and cumulative damages for each individual instance of the unlawful use and or breech of the EULA. .
Separation of Components.
The ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE is licensed as a single product. Its component parts may not be separated for any purpose.
SOFTWARE TRANSFER
You may not transfer all or any of your rights under this EULA.
TERMINATION
Without prejudice to any other rights, the Publisher of this Software may terminate this EULA if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions of this EULA. In such event, you must destroy all copies of the ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE and all of its component parts.
DISTRIBUTION
The ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE may not be sold or be included in a product or package which intends to receive benefits through the inclusion of the ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE or collateral including compositions generated by the ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE. The ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE may not be included in any free or non-profit packages or products without the express permission of AlterEgos.
3. COPYRIGHT.
All title and copyrights in and to the ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE (including but not limited to any images, photographs, animations, video, audio, music, text, and "applets" incorporated into the ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE), the accompanying printed materials, and any copies of the ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE are owned by the Publisher of this Software. The ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE is protected by copyright laws and international treaty provisions. Therefore, you must treat the ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE like any other copyrighted material except that you may install the ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE on two computers provided you keep the original solely for backup or archival purposes.
4. MISUSE
4.1 You may not alter the Product to make it appear to be the copyrighted trademarked property of anyone other than Licensor or any other entity, trademark, copyright, or license. Licensee in violation hereby indemnifies in any form or manner the Licensor from any Misuse of the ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE.
4.2 Licensee may not post the Product to any "Newsgroup" servers.
4.3 Licensee may not use the Product in any email format, chat Spam format, forum Spam or any Spam thereto.
4.4 Licensee is not licensed or permitted to in any form or manner to sell, rent, lease, transfer, network, barter, trade, share, or distribute the ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE or its collateral or produced compositions. The Licensee hereby agrees and accepts without change: punitive and cumulative damages; and any and all legal fees to secure such fees and penalties in any and all courts, states, cities, counties and districts should any misuse or infringement take place.
4.5 Licensee may not use the product for the production of pornographic or inappropriate moral production. Any violation of will terminate the ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE License.
4.6 Licensee may not use the product in connection with any copyright infringement or trademark infringement or patent infringement with another party or entity or the use thereto so addressed to or by any county, city, state, country in any action against the Licensee.

LIMITED WARRANTY
NO WARRANTIES.
The Publisher of this Software expressly disclaims any warranty for the ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE. The ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE and any related documentation is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including, without limitation, the implied warranties or merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The entire risk arising out of use or performance of the ALTEREGOS SOFTWARE remains with you.
NO LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES.
In no event shall the publisher of this Software be liable for any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information, or any other pecuniary loss) arising out of the use of or inability to use this product, even if the Publisher of this Software has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Because some states/jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, the above limitation may not apply to you.
ALTEREGOS COMPOSITION HOSTING
If you are using the Free or Shareware version of AlterEgos software (you have not paid for the software) you agree to place a AlterEgos button within the confines of any site displaying AlterEgos compositions this AlterEgos button can be downloaded from the AlterEgos site. The AlterEgos button should not be altered in any way and should be displayed prominently with the HREF Link intact directing interested parties directly to the AlterEgos website.
CHANGES TO LICENSE AGREEMENT
AlterEgos reserve the right to apply modifications to this license agreement from time to time, the latest version will be on the AlterEgos.com website. We will make every endeavour to contact all registered users in the event of license modifications, if this is not possible, we advise you to refer to the online license agreement from time to time to review any changes or enhancements to the AlterEgos License agreement.
