WAV Recording Applet SDK PRO 1.0

The WAV audio recording applet SDK Pro is designed to create the advanced web audio recorders and players on the web site. Recording applet allows to record the audio in WAV format from the web site and upload audio file to the web server via HTTP. Also, advanced playback applet is included to SDK. It allows to playback WAV audio file in the streaming mode from the server with changing playback speed. Recording and playback applets can be controlled via JavaScript buttons and hot keys. Foot pedal can be connected to the applets via hot keys.

WAV recording applet functionality:

1. Audio capture from sound card in the following formats:
* WAV PCM/16bits/mono;
* WAV Mu-Law/ 8bits/mono;
* WAV A-Law/8bits/mono.
The sampling frequencies are 8000Hz, 11025Hz, 16000Hz, 22050Hz, 32000Hz, 44100Hz. The format and sampling frequency can be set as applet parameters.
2. Editing of the recorded audio file – audio fragments inserting and cutting, re-recording.
3. Playback of the recorded audio file for the sound quality and content evaluation.
4. Uploading of audio file to the web server via HTTP. The PHP server script is used to receive audio file on the server and save it in the specified folder or data base.
5. Saving of recorded audio file on the client computer.
6. Downloading of audio file from the server or opening from client computer to continue the recording or/and sound editing.
7. Hot keys support.
8. Foot pedal support.
9. Additional data uploading to the server together with audio file (author, subject, etc).

WAV playback applet functionality:
1. Playback of the recorded audio file from the server in streaming mode with changing of playback speed. The changing of playback speed is very convenient feature for transcribing.
2. Hot keys support.
3. Foot pedal support. It allows to type text by hands in the text editor and control the applet by feet.
