AvEagle is a program that watches your Anti-virus software and your firewall to check to see if they are protecting your computer.
The battle between virus writers and users grows more intense each day. Virus writers have historically resorted to tricks like faking email from friends, fake software updates including for anti-virus software. Some Viruses even disable anti-virus and firewall software without your knowledge, leaving you wondering what the status of your protection is. This is the reason we wrote AV Eagle. AV-Eagle is a program that helps you keep an eye on your anti-virus software.
1.What is AV Eagle.
AvEagle is a program that writes the Eicar test file. A test program that exists entirely to test anti-virus software. It can also run that test file to help you determine how aggressive your virus scanner protection is.

3.Why don`t I just download the Eicar test file
You can and that will work. However there are two complications if the system is infected.
First some viruses can (either intentionally or accidentally) disable networking. If you find your system with networking disabled and your anti- virus is completely shut off that is a not a good sign.
Secondly most viruses will replicate themselves while you are connected and if your system is compromised you should limit the time your system is connected to spare others what you are going through. With this utility if you suspect your system is compromised you can spend your time connected fixing that problem, not determining if the problem is real.
4.Is my system perfectly safe with AV-Eagle?
No. We can`t even guarantee that your AV software can catch any virus except the test file. All our program will do is create the test file, and allow you to test the measures you have put in place without risking exposure to a real virus.
