Free corrupt Word 2007 DOCX, Excel 2007 XLSX and PowerPoint 2007 PPTX data and text salvage service. Upload your corrupt Office 2007 file and get back the original data or text, so it does not need to be retyped or re-entered, just reformatted. Office 2007 files are conventionally zipped collections of mostly XML files. This service recovers data or text from Office 2007 files with zip corruption and/or XML malformedness. Office 2007 may be able to correct zip corruption of its respective documents, however from the errors it returns it seems to use conventional XML modules to read the internal XML parts. XML almost all software for reading the files are intolerant of XML malformedness. Even one character corruption error can cause the file to be unreadable.

The DocToText software is GPL v. 2 but the version I`m using at this time has yet to be released.
