PCL Tool SDK - Option IV. for Capturing and Transforming PCL to TIF, PCL to EMF, PCL to PNG and PCL to Text. Option IV. converts COMPLEX PCL into raster/vector file formats while extracting text. Option IV. Includes: PCLXForm, PCLCodes, PCLSplit, ImgCvt, Filter, TNXDump and PCLTool. PCL2TIFF is the only product that can convert COMPLEX PCL to TIFF with extracted text.

PCL Tool SDK - Option IV. is ideal for developers who need to convert legacy PCL into TIF, EMF or BMP file formats. Unlike Option V., it does not allow for custom script programming to split or edit the documents while transforming them into TIF, EMF or BMP formats. Option IV. can also extract text from virtually any PCL file - even ones with "scrambled" text or rasterized text (with 1-2 hrs. of OCR processing). If you later find the need to customize the transformation process, adding logos, barcodes or OMR marks - you can always upgrade to Option V. or Option I. - if you find the need to write your own custom .exe.

Intelligent Mail barcodes, 2D Datamatrix barcodes and many other new functions have been added. Now all our programs are developed in Microsoft Visual Studio making it easier to provide source code.

PCLTool SDK v11.6 is the latest release from PageTech and fully supports 32-bit, 32-bit .NET, 64-bit and 64-bit .NET on all Windows 7 environments. Intelligent Mail barcodes, 2D Datamatrix barcodes and many other new functions have also been added in this release.
Distribution permissions for PCL to TIFF 32-bit / 32-bit .NET
PCLTool SDK can be freely copied, distributed, and uploaded only by freeware/shareware services to online their services or post on their freeware/shareware Internet sites, in its uninstalled, unmodified form. Freeware/Shareware Distributors that charge a nominal fee for reproduction and distribution may distribute in accordance with recognized Shareware distribution guidelines (e.g., Association of Shareware Professionals). PCLTool SDK is packaged in a self-installing archive that is ZIP-compatible and can be tested with ZIP utilities. Under no circumstance is the self-installing archive to be modified (e.g., LPCLTool_V##.exe, etc.). You may add a README (or equivalent) file stating anti-virus software used to verify archive and Shareware Distributor contact info (e.g., email, Web site); no other addition to the archive is allowed.
