PCL Tool SDK 64-bit / 64-bit .NET- Option III captures and converts COMPLEX PCL into raster/vector PDF or PDF/A formats, or raster XPS format while extracting text. PCL Tool SDK is the only product on the market that converts bitmap HP fonts into TrueType fonts to embed in the converted PDF`s. PCLTool SDK v11 is the latest release from PageTech and now fully supports 32-bit, 32-bit .NET, 64-bit and 64-bit .NET on all Windows 7 environments. Intelligent Mail barcodes, 2D Datamatrix barcodes and many other new functions have been added. Now all our programs are developed in Microsoft Visual Studio making it easier to provide source code.

PCL Tool SDK Option III is ideal for developers who need to capture and convert legacy PCL print streams into a PDF, PDF/A or XPS file formats. Unlike PCL Tool SDK Option V, it does not allow for custom script programming to split or edit the PCL while transforming them into PDF, PDF/A or XPS formats. Option III can extract text from virtually any PCL file - even ones with "scrambled" text or rasterized text (with 1-2 hrs. of OCR process). If you later find the need to customize the transformation process, like adding logos, barcodes or OMR marks - you can always upgrade to Option V or Option I - if you find the need to write your own custom .exe.
