Handy Backup Professional is an automatic backup software ideally suited for IT-professionals and advanced computer users. The utility is designed for operation under Windows Vista/2003/XP and 2008/2003 Server and proudly carries the Microsoft`s "Certified for Windows Vista" logo. Features full and incremental PC backup, has numerous presets that let you backup Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Mail, System Registry, E-mail, My Documents, Favorites, etc. Handy Backup Pro has free plug-ins that allow backing up Thunderbird, Photoshop and other popular applications. In addition to files-based backup, the program can make hard drive image backup which lets you image Windows, Linux, HPFS and other partitions. Hard disk imaging feature can be also used to clone hard drive or any partition of your choice. Handy Backup supports a wide choice of storage media and can backup to FTP/SFTP, CD/DVD, network, USB, Flash, FireWire and Online. Besides data backup and recovery, it can be used for PC sync purposes and synchronize folders and files between two locations. All tasks in Handy Backup are created through a comprehensible Task Wizard which provides easy data selection and step-by-step adjustment of backup options that include on the fly ZIP64 compression, 128-bit blowfish encryption, backup with timestamps, etc. The program has a very flexible scheduler and is easy in administering: it supports command line interface, e-mail notifications, and can run as Windows service. Besides the core functionality, Handy Backup Pro can be supplemented with paid plug-ins which include Microsoft Exchange backup, Oracle backup, MS SQL backup, Lotus Notes backup, ODBC database backup and DB2 backup.
