I don’t know how old you are, but I am well past retirement age. I have experienced cataract surgery on both eyes, have glaucoma and even had a heart attack. So you see I am not at my peak of physical condition or age … to say the least.

One day I decided to learn Spanish. I did not think that I was too old to learn new things. I bought myself the Pimsleur 8 lesson Introductory Audio Course. After the very first lesson I was interacting with native speakers and saying simple phrases and words. I was speaking Spanish. I was speaking a new language. It wasn’t hard at all. I figured I could really learn this language rapidly. What a great way to learn a language.

So the next step for me was to buy the Pimsleur Comprehensive I, Comprehensive II, and the Comprehensive III, and the Plus Courses. At the present time I have completed the I, and II Courses and am just starting the III.

I enjoyed having a new presentation and learning additional words and phrases. Now I have purchased a Linguaphone All Talk 16 hour Spanish Course. It has even more vocabulary than the Pimsleur Comprehensive Courses and will be a great addition.

I am getting to the point that I understand a lot more when I hear someone speaking Spanish. I can turn on a Spanish TV program and follow a lot of what is being said. I know that it is going to take
