Easily add dynamic server-side barcodes to web applications with the ASP (Active Server Pages) Barcode Server Component for IIS (Internet Information Server for Microsoft). This component will create barcodes in ASP scripts and compatible with any application that can display a dynamic URL, such as Crystal Reports and FileMaker Easy installation is completed by copying just three files to the virtual directory where barcodes are required. This component supports both 1D and 2D barcode types including Code 128 (with character sets A, B and C), GS1-128, UPC, EAN, USS128 ITF, PostNet, Code 39, USPS Intelligent Mail, Aztec, PDF417, QR-Code, MaxiCode and DataMatrix.

Recent updates to the 2D version include performance enhancements for the Data Matrix symbology to provide better support for GS1-Data Matrix, as well as easy encoding of application identifiers (AIs) encoded in the symbol.
v9.05 (June, 6. 2009)
New encoding function allows users to add application identifiers by adding the parentheses where needed instead of calling the ASCII characters with apply tilde set to true.
v9.3 (April, 2. 2009)
Updates in the new release include Caption Features improvements, 1BMP or One Bit per Pixel update, which allows for quicker streaming and thereby produces a smaller bmp file and the addition of the QR Code symbology in the 2D version.
v8.2 (February, 20. 2008)
Updates include enhancements to the human-readable properties, adjustments to the height and width properties and higher quality output images; Aztec support was also updated in the 2D packages.
v7.20 (December, 8. 2007)
Updates to this product include security updates, additional parameters, easier implementation and the addition of the USPS Intelligent Mail and Aztec barcode types. The latest product provides 100% managed code with strong name signatures and signed DLLs.
