When Jesus declared, "It is finished!" from the cross, He was proclaiming that He had dealt with sin on our behalf once and for all. The Book of Hebrews teaches us that without a continual recognition in our hearts of the fact that our sins have been forgiven, we are doomed to repeat the same sins over and over again (Hebrews 10:1-18).
