Biometrics made easy! Desktop Identity identifies people and generates time & attendance logs. It also has the very powerful functionality of working online with an existing application and to provide this identification information to the third-party software. In this mode it integrates with any existing system, such as time and attendance, check-in / check-out, access control, even if this is a legacy, text-oriented, system.

How does it work? When you register the fingerprints, you link each person to an ID (his/her social security number, for instance). Then, when one touches the fingerprint reader, the identified person is logged and the ID is passed to another application through the keyboard buffer or the clipboard.

Desktop Identity features:

- Multiple fingerprint reader support: including Microsoft Fingerprint reader, Digital Persona U.are.U, Secugen Hamster, Testech Bio-I and Crossmatch V300/V500.

- Auto-fill: when you register a person in Desktop Identity, you associate him/her with an ID. Later, when this person touches the scanner, he or she will be identified by his/her fingerprints. And all his/her information will be available, with only a fingerprint.

- Punch log: when punch log feature is enabled, the program will write a log in a text file whenever a fingerprint is identified. This file can be later processed to generate a report.

- Manage the users as you need: you can restrict a user to a specific span of time in specific days, clicking on the "Day/time restrictions" button in the "Manage database" dialog.

- Trial pack available: you can download our Trial Pack and test it and use it non-commercially for 90 days. Once you decide to purchase the FULL or LIGHT edition, you won`t even need to reinstall the software!
