Life Ahead computes a health value of exercise called the CFR that identifies risk of heart disease, cancer and other major life factors from convenient entry of all present useful exercise. It then computes the amounts and intensities of different exercises or their combination needed to improve cardio fitness to targets needed for well-days of future health. The program usually shows that adequate fitness can be developed from about 20 minutes per day of exercise. Users can optionally value in their risks the effect on their well-days of other health factors such as cholesterol, blood pressure, stress, smoking, and family disease history
