HelpSmith is a visual help authoring tool which you can use to create CHM HTML Help files, Web Help systems, Word RTF, and Printable Manuals using the same source. The stand-alone and very easy-to-use environment includes a powerful MS Word-like unicode text editor for working on help topicswith dynamic styles and live spell checker, advanced approach to working with graphical and video files, and many other useful features.

HelpSmith, the help authoring tool from Divcom Software, enables creating documentation and help files from scratch and also lets you import help topics from HTML, Word RTF, TXT files that can be written in multiple ANSI character sets.

With HelpSmith you can supply help files for your own application in popular help formats including CHM files, a standard format for application`s online Help in Windows. HelpSmith supports all the features of HTML Help, so you can create the hierarchical table of contents, alphabetical Index, also you can create and modify html help`s help windows, etc..

If you used other help authoring software before, HelpSmith offers the Import ability, that allows you import your existing help projects stored in HTML Help Workshop (HHP files) or directly from CHM files.
