Ever dreamed of a correct layout at once? Just by dropping controls? Without any layout panels? Just imagine: no more hassle with aligning, tab orders and anchors! And still have total control and flexibility. A powerful and flexible layout solution. Simply drag and drop controls and your layout is ready at once. Just by touching another control you let the RADvolution Designer know what you want. The layout engine takes care of all the rest: the alignment, the repositioning of other controls, the correct tabindex, an anchor validation, ... .Easily set your own preferred default layout settings. Share them between applications and override settings per form where necessary.
Quick design provides a shortcut in adding multiple controls at once. It even applies the default naming convention. With accelerator check included.
The default naming convention is applied in the quick design window. There the RADvolution Designer automatically takes care of composing the name of your control. The standard edition (SE) only supports the default naming convention, which means: variable text part and the name of the control type. E.g.: CityLabel, CityTextBox. The professional edition (PE) allows you to set your own naming convention.
The RADvolution form is a normal form with extra handy functionality for developers. The RADvolution Designer`s layout engine is included. Dropping and moving controls on the form immediately results in a consistent and professional layout. The layout engine is always present and works immediately on any control.
Ready to use form buttons like Close, OK and Cancel are present too. The RADvolution Designer takes care of the appropriate boilerplate actions, so ready to use at once. Double click on a control and you are ready (the layout engine automatically positions these controls).
This DevelopGuidance Software Distribution License Agreement ("DSDLA") is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity) and DevelopGuidance for the DevelopGuidance evaluation software, which includes the accompanying computer software, and may include associated media, printed materials and any "online" or electronic documentation ("SHAREWARE SOFTWARE"). If you do not agree to the terms of this DSDLA, you may not distribute the SHAREWARE SOFTWARE.
DevelopGuidance grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license to distribute the SHAREWARE SOFTWARE only as follows:
1. Individuals or single entities may share and give copies of the SHAREWARE SOFTWARE to any other individual or single entity, but only without charge and provided you comply with section 5 and 6.
2. Online services (including WWW sites, FTP sites and BBSs) that are free (except for any subscription fees or incidental Internet access charges) may make the SHAREWARE SOFTWARE available for downloading, provided you comply with section 5 and 6.
3. The only file you may distribute is the SHAREWARE SOFTWARE compressed zip file.
4. All other distribution that charges for online access time, CD-ROM, catalog, and retail rack, requires written permission by DevelopGuidance (which DevelopGuidance may withhold in its discretion), and pre-payment of a license fee or other mutually agreed benefit that DevelopGuidance may request.
5. These grants are subject to the conditions that no copyright information or trademark will be added or removed, and all of the SHAREWARE SOFTWARE`s files as released by DevelopGuidance are included without modification.
6. These grants are subject to the conditions that you do not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the SHAREWARE SOFTWARE.
