Private Disk Multifactor is a disk encryption program that secures confidential data on laptops, USB disks and other endpoint devices. It combines the industry standard NIST-certified AES 256-bit encryption, an innovative Disk Firewall mechanism, 64-bit platform compatibility, USB disk portability and smart card authentication into a low-cost and easy-to-deploy solution. It provides proactive protection against viruses, Trojans, adware, spyware and unauthorized network access. Sensitive data are not only encrypted, but are protected with Dekart`s innovative Disk Firewall mechanism: a unique technology that creates a white-list of `trusted` applications allowed to access the encrypted disk. If a specific application is not found in the white-list of programs, it will be unable to read or alter the confidential information stored on the virtual encrypted disk. Support for smart cards and biometric devices provides an added layer of data protection by storing the user`s private decryption key or strong password on a smart card or USB stick. So if, for example, a laptop is lost or stolen, there will not be any risk of data being compromised. This encryption software is compatible with virtually any version of Windows, including the latest 64-bit releases of Windows XP and Windows 2003. The encryption program`s mobility allows it to be used in conjunction with a broad range of portable media, for instance: USB flash drives,external hard disks, flash memory cards, DVDs, or digital MP3 players, such as the iPod. Private Disk Multifactor becomes a true USB disk encryption program, as it can be launched directly from the removable media, without having to be installed on the computer, meaning that you can work safely with your data, no matter where you are.

You are free to distribute this program as shareware to others,

provided you distribute all original files without modification, and

provided that you clearly explain the concept of shareware and the

understanding that your medium provides `evaluation` copies to try and

that the purchasers of the program shall pay to Dekart SRL the cost of the
program using secure web shop at the Dekart web site.
After payment the user will receive authorisation code for use of the program.
Authorisation code obtained in any other way will be considered invalid.
No one may distribute any Dekart user

authorization code or branded version of the program to any other

individual or group. The author also requests that you send an email

address to info@dekart.com so he can notify you of major updates so your

customers will know they are downloading the most recent version.
