TTake5 is an easy and fun stop motion animation program for beginners and pros alike. With Take5 you can capture images from a video camera or webcam and instantly play them as an animation.

Originally developed as a pencil-test program,Take5 has evolved into a high quality animation capture and editing tool. It is used to produce object animations and other direct under the camera animation techniques such as oil paint and sand animation. Take5 is used in schools and animation workshops as well as by animation professionals and studios.

Take5 supports webcams, analog and digital video cameras, including high resolution cameras, and Canon LiveView DSLR camera`s. Onion-skinning and live/stored looping are available while animating, as well as video noise reduction. Editing the animation is easy and fast using the frame accurate xsheet-type editor. This feature sets it apart from many other similar programs and is normally only found in dedicated pencil-test systems. Multiple audio tracks can be added, edited and played along with the animation, all in real-time without the need for any rendering. Animations can be saved for further editing or made into a movie for distribution.
