Visual BCD Editor 0.9.1

Visual BCD is a GUI version of Windows command line utility bcdedit.

It is the first GUI application to implement full access to the BCD. The user can see and edit every detail in a well known explorer like structure.

The power of bcdedit by simple clicks and keystrokes. New Windows XP/Vista/7 loaders are created on select and click.

Boot sector(Linux, Ubuntu, Mac OS X) loaders need additional MBR/PBR extraction with dd utility.

The user can create and change the value of more than 120 properties of BCD objects with simple edits. Other similar utilities like VistaBootPro and EasyBCD give access to not more than 30 properties!

All used constants, names, objects and elements are as defined by Microsoft. That means 100% compatibility.

Runtime requirements: .NET Framework 4.0 Client (Windows Vista/7).


Accompanying Dual-boot Repair utilityl is part of Visual BCD package and needs .NET Framework 2.0 (runs on XP and up). It can repair the MBR, boot sectors, the BCD store and the disk structure. New unique feature is the automatic one click dual-boot repair functionality for dual/multi boot systems.
