The program includes twenty-two unique themes, and with its intuitive interface you can specify whether you want to see one or all of them. When active, Maelstrom randomly cycles through all selected themes, smoothly transitioning between them, often with breathtaking results. Variety is built in, and the result is that you won`t end up watching exactly the same things over and over.
Maelstrom also offers something that no other screen saver can match. Simply select a checkbox, and all themes will be rendered in anaglyphic 3D mode. When you wear a pair of 3D glasses (which are mailed to all registered users free of charge) the objects will literally leap off the screen.
By installing, copying or otherwise using this software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this license agreement. If you do not agree to the terms of this agreement, you may not use or install Maelstrom.
This is not free software. Subject to the terms below, you are hereby licensed by Aragon Systems to use one copy of Maelstrom, on one (1) computer or workstation, for evaluation purposes without charge for a period of five (5) days. If you use this software after the five day evaluation period, a registration fee of $14.95 is required.
You may, without making any payment to Aragon Systems:
a) Give exact copies of this evaluation version of Maelstrom personally to anyone;
b) Distribute exact copies of this evaluation version of Maelstrom if done exclusively through electronic channels;
c) Make as many exact copies of this evaluation version of Maelstrom as you wish, for purposes of distribution as described in (a) and (b) above.
All rights of any kind in Maelstrom which are not expressly granted in this License are entirely and exclusively reserved to and by Aragon Systems. You may not rent, lease, modify, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works based on Maelstrom.
Unregistered use of Maelstrom after the five day evaluation period is in violation of U.S. and international copyright laws.
Maelstrom, and any and all accompanying software, files, data and materials, are distributed and provided AS IS and with no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
